Project Snapshot

Client: Kurt Braunohler

Project Type: Artist/Performer website refresh

Scope: Site audit, information architecture, UX/UI design, Squarespace build, performance & SEO

Expertise: Web design, art direction, content strategy, technical implementation

Kurt’s previous website housed great content (tour dates, podcast, video clips, press), but it had grown organically over time. I was brought in to streamline the user experience, modernize the visual language, and make show discovery and booking the primary paths.

Challenges

Kurt’s site had all the right content, but it was hard to find. Tour dates were buried, the navigation felt a little scattered, and the overall look didn’t reflect the energy of his work. Fans had to click too many times just to see where he was performing next.

Goals

The goal was simple: make it super easy to find shows and learn more about Kurt. At the same time, we wanted to create a website that showed his personality, felt modern, and worked smoothly on any device.

Solution

We cleaned up the menu, built a tour-first layout with clear ticket links, and added a fresh design system that feels bold but easy to navigate. On top of that, we improved performance and SEO so the site loads fast and gets discovered more easily.
