Deirdre Murphy is a contemporary visual artist whose work explores color, pattern, and storytelling through nature-inspired abstraction. I’ve had the privilege of managing her website for the past five years, ensuring her evolving portfolio was accessible to galleries, collectors, and students. In 2025, we took things a step further by creating a complete brand identity and a refreshed website that better reflects the sophistication and vibrancy of her work today.


The Vision

Deirdre wanted her online presence to feel as dynamic and polished as her paintings. Our goal was to design a website that not only showcased her art beautifully but also supported her storytelling, teaching, and professional achievements.

Our Approach

Instead of starting from scratch, I worked from years of insight into her needs and audience behavior. Together, we developed a new brand identity — including a custom wordmark logo, timeless typography system, and a Scandinavian-inspired color palette — and applied it to a streamlined, modern Squarespace website.
